It is with great sadness we heard that Lionel had died at the end of December 2020 at aged 77.
Lionel was one of the first members of MICH and was our Secretary and a member of our committee for many years
In addition to his almost four decades of policing, Lionel served as Mayor and Councillor of the City of Doncaster and Templestowe, and on Manningham City Council. Lionel received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in April 2017 for his services to the community.
In MICH we will remember him for his many contributions to our discussions and above all else, his wit and friendship.
